The purpose of this page is to provide information relating to the Sunny Hills LEO Club: Club News: April 28th; Camp Wilderness Service project with the District. New Officer elections should be done by May 15th, 2002: Please select you nominees. Remember that officers will be trained but will require tutorship from fellow club members. Ongoing Nature project: Seal Beach conservancy clean-up every third Saturday of each month. District News Leo District meeting and election on April 18th, 2002. Quarterly reports are due."Leo Club Excellence Award" will be determined by the activities bpresented in the quarterly report. New Leo Clubs: Chaparral Middle School Leo Club in Diamond Bar will be chartered on May 5th, 2002. Two other clubs are in the plans; Chino Hills and Brea-Olinda High School. Youth Exchange is a Lions sponsored organization that enables interaction between teenagers of different countries by providing an exchange program overseas. You can stay 5 weeks in Europe or Japan for approximately $1800. at a host family. Contact Dr. Poli or Sebastian for more info. Things we did: Beepball tournament on 11/03/01, Donated to the September 11th fund: $500., Rose Parade float decoration on 12/27/01, Cleaned and replanted the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, Gave Chocolate hearts to local elderly at their retirement homes, Easter egg Hunt for the Kindergarden children in Santa Ana on 03/29/02.
