The purpose of this page is to provide information relating to the Sunny Hills LEO Club: Club News: New Officer elections was done on May 14th, 2008: Congratulations to Mo Chowdhury and her new cabinet. "Club Rush" at Sunny Hills: We are planning the event with flyers and posters, the idea is to sign up as many new members as possible. District News The First Leo District meeting is scheduled for 09/28/08 in Garden Grove. It will feature officer training and presentation of the district agenda. Quarterly reports are due every three months."Leo Club Excellence Award" will be determined by the activities presented in the quarterly report. New Leo Clubs: Troy High School Leo Club in Fullerton was chartered on April 5th, 2008.  Youth Exchange is a Lions sponsored organization that enables interaction between teenagers of different countries by providing an exchange program overseas. You can stay 5 weeks in Europe or Japan for approximately $1800. at a host family. Contact Mr. Bell for more info. Things we'll do: Help the Lions during "Silverado Days" on 10/17-19/08, Halloween Eyeglass collection during "Sight Night": (12 pairs last year), Rose Parade float decoration on 12/27/08, Clean and replant the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, in February and March. Make dinner for the parents of ill children at Ronald McDonald House (in Orange), in November. Bowling and Ice-skating socials in November and February. Lip-synch show in March April 26th; Orphanages of Thailand Fundraiser @ the Rachada Restaurant with the District. Scleroderma Walk in June. Yearlong fundraisers: Snack sales, food cart.
