| 1) Where can I find a Chiropractor ? |

| 2) How do I know if the Chiropractor is right for me ? |
|
1) REFERRAL:
Ask a family
member or a friend if they know of a good Doctor of Chiropractic. Word
of mouth is the best conveyor of satisfaction, and quality. Keep in
mind that all cases are different, therefore "results my vary".

2) EDUCATION:
Although
most schools offer similar education programs (which are in par with
what is offered in Medical schools, by the way), make sure that
the doctor's Alma Mater is/was approved by the Council on Chiropractic Education
(CCE). Furthermore, post graduate education that provides a "certified"
of "diplomate" status is a bonus (This does not guarantee compassion). |

3) TRACK RECORD:
Contact your state's "Board of Chiropractic Examiners ( see: Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards)", or equivalent, to request information such as license suspension or reported misdeeds. A list will be made available on this site in the future.

4) RESULTS:
Even if the
treatment program may ultimately require multiple visits to solve your
problem, the fact remains that Chiropractic care should start providing
results within a few visits (at the least a temporary improvement of
symptoms). Your body knows what is good for it, start questioning the
treatment if you feel that it is not helping. If the reaction from the
doctor is not satisfactory, then seek care at an other facility.
